MEA tours in Guatemala are focused in the Peten, the vast jungle in the northeastern part of the country. The Peten is the epicenter of the 5.5 million acre Maya Forest which spans into Mexico and Belize . This is a place where you can watch Scarlet Macaws and monkeys move through the forest canopy above magnificent Ancient Maya ceremonial centers as our local Maya guides lead us through the jungle trails and invite us into their communities.
