Tasting authentic Nicaraguan flavors.
9 Days: Padre Ramos · Cosigüina · Chichigalpa · Estelí · Datanli - El Diablo
$1,995/person
While just becoming known in the US, Nicaragua is regionally well-known for a number of different local products. On this trip we explore the many natural areas of the northern part of Nicaragua while following the theme (and sampling) of its famous products including Flor de Caña Rum, Cigars from Esteli, and Coffee from Jinotega. One other product we will also sample is organic chocolate from Matagalpa. As we hike volcanoes and explore cloud forests looking for quetzals, we will also sample our way across the country. A very fun and diverse itinerary.
